What is Iris

Iris is an advanced, automatic colony counter developed by AAA Lab Service BV. Powered by artificial intelligence (deep neural networks), Iris quickly and accurately counts bacterial colonies on Petri dishes of various sizes – fully automatically and without any reflection interference.

This compact and expandable solution incorporates the latest technologies in robotics and machine learning, and is entirely designed, built, and programmed in-house.
