About Peter Krul
Entrepreneurship is in Peter Krul's blood. He is now the third generation in his family to have his own company in metalworking. He started his first company in 1990 under the name PK Machinebouw. The purchase of the building in use at the time did not materialize and so there was a move to Veenderveld 47-J in Roelofarendsveen where there is now an impressive machine park.
PK Machinebouw has clients from various sectors such as yacht building, packaging industry, agriculture, nurseries and laboratories. After having developed an updated version of a previously developed plating machine for a local laboratory, this turned out to be in great demand from the field. It soon became clear that it was time for a serious step forward and so Peter Krul started his second company, AAA Lab Service. This company focuses entirely on laboratory equipment and now has customers at home and abroad.
Innovations
Several innovations are now in the name of Peter Krul and his team, such as the automatic plating machine ‘Kitty’, the automatic spreading plate machine ‘Rosie’, the automatic colony counter ‘Irina’ and the by dilution and pipetting station ‘Amanda’. All the machines are developed in consultation with professionals from various laboratories. Thus, the machines are designed to meet all customer requirements and contribute to great cost and time savings in the labs.

We now have more than 20 years of experience in the laboratory world and as AAA Lab Service we specialize in developing high-quality laboratory equipment. Our strength lies in the fact that we do all phases of the process, from the idea to the actual assembly of the machines, in-house. In doing so, we do not compromise on quality and we want our customers to be able to work with our automatic colony counter ‘Irina’ without breakdowns."
